OLRAC, the Ocean and Land Resource Assessmen Consultants, a South African based company, has developed a suite of electronic reporting products, named Olfish, which are capable of collecting, analyzing, plotting, mapping, reporting, and transmitting all data related to at sea operations. Olfish can be used by skippers, recreational and commercial fishers, fleet managers, scientists, onboard observers, compliance inspectors, and fisheries management authorities. Olfish includes a dynamic and user-friendly report writer, with report encryption and authentication, and, as such, it virtually eliminates the need for paper logbooks. Olfish is an infinitely customizable solution which can be used by any fishery in the world.
Olfish-AOLA is the local Olfish software agent, responsible for portions of the U.S. and Canadian Market. Olfish-AOLA markets, sells, and provide training and technical support for Olfish clients within this area. OLFISHAOLA is a subsidiary of the Atlantic Offshore Lobstermen's Association.
