Olfish-RMS (Report Management System)

OLRAC has developed a web-based, Report Management System for the management and transmission of fishing reports which, is fully compliant with EU regulations 1966/2006 and 1077/2008.

Olfish-ERS can receive, validate, acknowledge and forward EU regulation fishing reports. In addition, Olfish-RMS can also generate summary reports, maintain vessel registry, manage fish quotas and can show vessel movements and latest location and data on Google Maps.

Integration with the Satellite Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) and the Integrated Fishery Data Information System (IFDIS)

Olfish-DDL has been tested to work with Boatracs, Skymate, NetMailer and Watchdog. Olfish-DDL can also send reports via older Inmarsat-C systems by un-encoding the reports. Integration with any other VMS systems are possible given access to protocols used. It can also use its own internal mailing component for direct sending of reports where possible (e.g. current Inmarsat-B systems).

 Olfish-RMS can facilitate push and pull of data between itself and any third party system. The level of integration depends on the level of interfaces available from the third party system (IFDIS and VMS system). Olfish-RMS already allows for the generation of EU compliant reports for sending to member states. Additionally, the server system can generate any format required by the IFDIS and VMS systems for viewing or storage purposes.
